What a week it’s been! The E-world energy & water 2025 has come to an end — and we’re heading back to Zurich full of ideas, inspiration, and new connections.
Even the journey to Essen reflected the spirit of the event: the future of energy in motion. Our VW ID.3 — kindly sponsored by AMAG Group and Clyde Mobility — took us from Zurich to Essen with only two charging stops. A small but powerful reminder of how practical and reliable e-mobility has already become.

The first morning buzzed with energy as we set up our shared booth with work digital and CONVOTIS. Before the doors even opened, tools, cables, and laughter were everywhere — and soon we were ready for three days full of conversations, meetings, and ideas.

From energy providers to startups to policymakers, our booth attracted many curious visitors eager to discuss how energy sharing, dynamic tariffs, and smart energy management can be put into practice today.
And of course, we wrapped up the first day in style — with a lively booth party full of good music, good people, and plenty of energy.
After hours didn’t mean downtime. At the very first edition of THE GRID — hosted by Vireo Ventures, World Fund, BRYCK.COM, and the HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds — the energy innovation community came together to exchange ideas, network, and share inspiration. A fantastic atmosphere with lots of new impulses!

On the second evening, we wound down the day with pizza and relaxed conversations alongside our partners Prokon Regenerative Energien eG, work digital, and CONVOTIS — the perfect ending to a day packed with insights.
One of our highlights was the talk by Anselma Wörner during the session “Smart Cities: Mobility and Buildings in Future Urban Environments.”
She showcased how energy sharing plays a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable cities of tomorrow.

A big thank you to Dorothy Grandia, Christoph Wolff, Wolf Ketter, and Sytse Zuidema for the inspiring discussion!
Another standout session came from E.ON Digital Technology and Bayernwerk, who shared valuable insights on how local energy communities can accelerate the decentralized energy transition.
E-world is more than just an industry fair — it’s where innovation, business, and politics meet.
During the event, our co-founder Liliane Ableitner and Frederik Frey from work digital sat down with André Stinka, Leonard Wessel, and Lena Teschlade (SPD NRW) to discuss the core challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.
Key topics included:
◽ Energy sharing as a driver of citizen participation
◽ Smart meters as enablers of flexible tariffs and intelligent energy management
◽ Transparency over fear – why communication is crucial for dynamic electricity tariffs
◽ Energy access as a shared social responsibility
The message was clear: only through dialogue and collaboration between policymakers and the energy industry can we create the framework for a sustainable, future-ready energy system.
After three days full of conversations, insights, and innovation, one thing is certain:
E-world is more than an event — it’s a movement powered by collaboration and purpose.
The energy transition isn’t just about technology. It’s about people with passion and vision coming together to make it real.
And that spirit was felt in every corner of Essen.
A huge thank you to all our partners, visitors, and everyone who stopped by our booth — we’re already looking forward to E-world 2026.
Because one thing is clear: the energy transition needs dialogue.
